Dreamer girl...

This may be one of my new favorite pictures of Lily.

BLOG lily lying down looking up

I love the innocence and wonder in her brown dreamy eyes...
the way her little fingers are clasped together and
her foot is up in the air behind her.

BLOG lying down looking back at me

BLOG lily smiling lying down

She doesn't take "posing cues" often (actually never at this age) but she really tried hard to do what I was asking here and after a few attempts I got the smile I was looking for :)

BLOG lily looking down at rug

She had fun exploring the texture of the shaggy rug and pillows...

BLOG all finished

but after a few minutes my window of opportunity was up...

BLOG lying down with eyes closed

clearly she was "all done" and ready for me to put my camera away.

These were taken with my Nikon D80 50mm 1.4 lens
f/2.2
1/200
ISO 640

I ran a few levels and then used Florabella's All-in-one retouch action.

Oh Amy, these are ALL so beautiful I can't choose a favorite! I do think this whole series of photos of is my personal favorite of Lily. SOOOOO BEAUTIFUL!
Thank you for the sweet comment on my Sunday post. It was a very special day for all of us and God was right there with us watching over Kristy the entire time. We are so very blessed!
Have a wonderful week! Looking forward to class tomorrow:)
God Bless,
Diane
P.S. I still am so fasinated with your "dove" in your sunflare photo. Wouldn't it be awesome if you could incorporate the dove in your watermark? I think that was God's "stamp of approval" on your beautiful photo:)

What wonderful light you captured in these! And those expressions are just adorable... even when she's done posing for the camera ;)

Useful info. Fortunate me I found your website unintentionally, and I am surprised why this coincidence didn’t happened in advance! I bookmarked it.

Is it possible to make use of frameworks like ExtJS from RubyJS? If so, how would you do it cleanly?
